a case study of incident notification according to LSI, NIS2 and DORA

This immersive 2h workshop is designed to help the audience grasp the complex regulatory requirements for information protection in Switzerland and the European Union. Focusing on the Suisse Information Security Act (LSI), the EU’s NIS2 directive, and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), this workshop combines an in-depth legal analysis with a hands-on practical approach to ensure compliance. 

Participants will be guided by a legal expert and a cybersecurity specialist to: 

  • Gain clarity on regulatory requirements: ensuring timely incident reporting and developing actionable strategies to initiate compliance efforts. 
  • Anticipate penalties: Identify non-compliance risks, including potential fines and activity restrictions 
  • Apply knowledge through a case study: the workshop will evolve around a fictional case study involving an IT security service based in Switzerland. 

Conditions and limitations:

This workshop is proposed as a an exclusive side-event for which a dedicated fee of CHF 350.- applies. Due to the limited number of available seats, it is available on invitation only.

Soheila Firouz Kouhi

Soheila Firouz Kouhi is a Swiss legal expert with a bachelor's and master's degree in law from the Universities of Geneva and Neuchâtel. She has extensive expertise in personal data protection and has successfully led compliance projects for over 60 international schools worldwide in her role as Group DPO. In this position, she has trained thousands of employees in the best practices for data protection.  

In January 2022, she joined Orange Cyberdefense Switzerland formerly SCRT, where she designed and launched the Data Protection services, offering comprehensive regulatory support and advice to businesses. Today, as a data protection and information security consultant, she leads compliance missions involving GDPR, LPD, and cantonal data protection laws, conducts ISO 27001 gap analyses, and enhances cybersecurity and legal compliance for organizations of all sizes. 

Gaëtan Senelle-Cojan

Gaëtan Senelle-Cojan is an information security expert in governance, risk and compliance. 

From 2018 to 2022, he led the NIS compliance program for the main French electricity distributor and acted as OT Information security officer in Paris area. In June 2022, he joined SCRT (now OCD CH) to become an information security advisor to our client’s senior management. He performs risk assessments and management, ISMS implementation as well as all services provided by a CISO.  He is currently involved in LSI and NIS2 compliance projects.
