Threat Landscape 2025 and the implication of the Russian / Ukraine War on Cybersecurity for Europe

Raphaël Marichez previously occupied cybersecurity and operational responsibilities in the French Government for 10 years. Mostly, as the global Chief information security officer for the French Ministry of Interior, and as the head of the PM agency in charge of deploying and operating the federal communication network for all the ministries over the French territory mainland and overseas. He started his career 18 years ago as an infosec consultant and red-teamer.

He joined Palo Alto Networks as regional CSO in 2020 to fasten cybersecurity transformation in large companies and public organisations in France and Southern Europe, increasing their information systems’ efficiency, business value and robustness, by advising CxO leadership teams and advocating Palo Alto Networks’ vision for cybersecurity.
